TicketsCINCINNATI – Fans and supporters are invited to join Cincinnati football head coach Scott Satterfield and special guests at two exclusive summer Happy Hour events to get the inside scoop on the 2026 Bearcats at the Sheakley Indoor Practice Field and Performance Facility’s outdoor terrace.
The events are scheduled for Wednesday, July 22 and Wednesday, July 29 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fans will hear the lates updates on the program, engage with coaches and fellow supporters, and enjoy an evening on the terrace.
Beers will be only $5, and non-alcoholic drinks and appetizers will be included.

ABOUT THE 2026 BEARCATS
Led by preseason All-America guard Evan Tengesdahl and all-conference teammates Taran Tyo and Joe Cotton, the Bearcats feature arguably the nation’s top offensive line heading into the 2026 season. They will protect transfer quarterback JC French, who takes the reins of one of the Big 12's most productive offenses. The defense will be led by linebackers and Ohio natives Antwan Peek Jr. (Cincinnati) and Jonathan Thompson (Columbus) under first-year defensive coordinator Nate Woody’s new-look scheme.

NIPPERT STADIUM IS COLLEGE FOOTBALL'S WRIGLEY FIELD
For more than a century, Nippert Stadium has stood at the heart of the University of Cincinnati campus and remains one of the most unique venues in college athletics. Football has been played on the site since 1901, and the stadium was formally dedicated in 1924. Nestled below ground level in the center of campus, Nippert's steep seating bowl places fans virtually on top of the action and creates one of the most electric atmospheres in college football.
The stadium hosted the Midwest's first intercollegiate night football game in 1923 and has served as the launching pad for generations of sports luminaries, including Cincinnati legends Jason and Travis Kelce and All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner. Though it seats nearly 40,000 fans, the roar inside Nippert often sounds like three times that number. From Hall of Famers and NFL stars to conference champions and All-Americans, few venues can match Nippert's combination of history, tradition, and game-day energy.

The Bearcats return three starters from last season’s Joe Moore Award (nation’s best OL honor) semifinalist offensive line. Redshirt junior Evan Tengesdahl collected All-Big 12 First Team and Associated Press All-America accolades, while redshirt seniors Taran Tyo and Joe Cotton also return following All-Big 12 campaigns. The Bearcats allowed the fewest sacks (8.0) and tackles for loss (43.0) of any Power Four team in 2025, while finishing third in the nation in yards per carry (5.7) and No. 8 in yards per play (6.9). Further showing confidence in the unit, offensive line coach Nic Cardwell was promoted to co-offensive coordinator in the offseason, and the Bearcats did not add an offensive lineman through the transfer portal, a testament to the program's depth and confidence in its returning talent.
