Played offensive and defensive line in high school, collecting 36 tackles (six for loss) and one sack...Earned all-state honors as a junior and senior on the gridiron...Finished fifth in Indiana's indoor state competition as a sophomore for shot put...Holds school records in shot and discus, ranking 27th in his class.
