2017 XC (SO): Competed in five races on the year… ran in the Butler Opener and Queen City Invitational in back-to-back days, scoring the team both days as the fifth finisher in each meet… finished a season-best 33rd at the QCI meet… placed 82nd at the AAC Championships… ran a personal-best at the All-Ohio Championships, lowering his previous best in the 8,000m event by 1:37.7.
2016-17 SEASONS
2017 OUT (FR): Raced twice on the year with both races in the 3,000m steeplechase… posted a best of 9:43.01 to finish fourth at the Lyles/Wood Invitational.
2017 IN (FR): Redshirted.
2016 XC (FR): Raced four times on the year… opened his career as the team’s fifth scorer at the Queen City Invitational by placing 47th overall in his collegiate debut… was the second finisher for the open team at the NCAA Pre-National Invitational for his second Top 50 finish (50th).
PRIOR TO UC: A 2016 graduate of LaSalle HS (Cincinnati)… competed in four different sports during his prep career, including four years with cross country, three years with track, two with basketball and one with football… 2016 Greater Catholic League Track Runner of the Year… three-time First Team All-GCL selection, including two honors in track and one in cross country… ran on 4x800m relay team that placed 12th at the state meet in 2016… regional qualifier in the 1,600m and cross country once each… member of four GCL championship teams, including three in track & field and one in football… teams captured four district titles as well, including three in track & field and one in cross country… academically, earned honor roll placement each season he competed (10x total) and carried a 4.0 GPA to rank fourth in his graduating class… earned numerous academic awards as well.
