2025 OTF: Competed in five meets... Notched a personal best hammer throw (58.03m) at the Big 12 Championships to claim 16th... Impressed at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational as he took fourth in the hammer throw (56.70m) and fifth in the shot put (16.27m)... At the Clark Wood Open, he took home sixth in the hammer throw after a toss of 57.20m.
2025 ITF: Competed in three events during the season...Notched a personal best throw of 17.81m for a ninth-place finish in the weight throw at the Music City Challenge… At the Rod McCravy Memorial, he recorded a mark of 15.85m in the shot put for ninth place.
2023-24 SEASONS
2024 ITF: Competed in eight events during the season... At the Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational, he recorded a personal best in the shotput (16.50m) to place 11th overall... At the Indiana Invitational, he placed third overall in the shot put (16.35m)... At the 2024 MSJ February Meet, he placed third overall in the shot put (14.97m).
2024 OTF: Competed in six events during the season... At the Michael Johnson Invitational, he recorded a personal best in hammer throw (53.52m) to place 16th overall... At the 2024 Oliver Nikoloff meet, he placed fourth overall in the shot put (15.77m).
PERSONAL: A native of Rittman, Ohio, born on Dec. 12, 2004... Attended Rittman High School and competed in the shot put and hammer throw... Son of Greg and Carrie Thompson and has two brothers... Plans on majoring in history while also receiving a minor in sports administration...
