2013-14 (R-Senior): Won the pole vault at the Hoosier Open...claimed first at the Pole Vault Summit with a personal-best indoor height of 17' 8.5"...finished first at the Ohio State Tune-Up...garnered fifth in the pole vault at the American Indoor Championships...won the pole vault at the Alabama Relays...set a new facility record at the Armory Fieldhouse with a mark of 17' 7" during the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational...broke the UC outdoor pole vault record with a clearance of 17' 10.25" at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships to win...finished third in the pole vault at the American Outdoor Championships...qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the pole vault.
2012-13 (R-Junior): Took first place in pole vault in nine of 15 meets...set the Gettler Stadium record at the Oliver Nickoloff Invitational with a jump of 17' 6.25"...won the All-Ohio Outdoors Championships and BIG EAST Outdoor Championships...finished eighth at the NCAA East Preliminary Round to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships...vaulted a career best 17' 8.5" to finish seventh at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and garner All-America honors...received Best Teammate and Most Valuable Field Athlete from the team.
2011-12 (R-Sophomore): Took sixth in the pole vault at the All-Ohio Outdoors Championships...finished fourth at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships...qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round and finished 13th with a personal-best mark of 17' 3.5".
2010-11 (R-Freshman): Finished third in the pole vaule at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships...took second at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships in pole vault...vaulted a season best 16' 8.75" at the Indiana Polytan Invitational...claimed third at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships...qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the pole vault...awarded Best Freshman by team.
2009-10 (Freshman): Redshirted at Eastern Michigan University.
Personal: Born January 21, 1991....son of Tom and Peggy Dangel...finished second in pole vault his senior year at the Ohio State Meet...had a high school personal record of 15' 6".
