Anthony Car Season 2015-16

2016-17 SEASONS
2016 XC (SR): Ran in four meets, placing in the Top 15 twice… was 13th at the All-Ohio Championships, finishing second among all Bearcats to help the team to a third-place showing (43 teams)… placed 48th at the American Athletic Conference meet.

2015-16 SEASONS
2016 OUT (JR): Did not race… capped the year earning American Athletic Conference All-Academic honors.
2016 IN (JR): Did not race.
2015 XC (JR): Raced four times on the year… placed 9th in the season-opening Queen City Invitational, the second-highest finish on the team… fourth on the team at the American Athletic Conference Championships… among the Top 4 on the team in all four races.

2014-15 SEASONS
2015 OUT (SO): Competed in the 1,500m and 5,000m events at the conference meet… helped sprint medley relay to third-place showing at outdoor-opening Walt Disney Open.
2015 IN (SO): Ran the indoor mile five times during the season… advanced to the finals of the event at the American Indoor Championships… clocked a season and career-best time of 4:16.73 at the SPIRE Invitational.
2014 XC (SO): Team’s fifth-finisher and scorer at the American Cross Country Championships, helping the team to a runner-up finish… opened the year with a sixth=place finish at the Friendship Invitational… ran in his first NCAA event by competing in the Great Lakes Region race.

2013-14 SEASONS
2014 OUT (FR): Finished sixth in the distance medley relay at the American Indoor Championships... claimed fourth place in the 1,500m run at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships with a season-best time 3:53.35.
2014 IN (FR): Took fifth at the American Outdoor Championships in the 1,500m.
2013 XC (FR): Ran in four events… finished a season-best ninth at the All-Ohio Championships… competed in the conference championships as a freshman.

High School: Four-time All-Premier Athletic Conference...conference champion in the 800-meter run, 4x400-meter relay and 4x800-meter relay...posted personal-best times of 49.8 in the 400-meter dash, 1:58.1 in the 800-meter run and 4:20 in the mile.

Personal: Born Dec. 2, 1994... son of John and Maria Car... has two siblings: Daniel and John.
