Mike Wood Season 2015-16

2016-17 SEASONS
2017 OUT (JR): Jumped in seven meets on the season… placed 11^th in the AAC Championships to close out the year… cleared a best of 1.95m (6-04.75) twice during the season, first at the Raleigh Relays before duplicating the effort at the Lyles/Wood Invitational… finished a season-best third at the All-Ohio Championships.
2017 IN (SO*): Competed in the high jump in seven meets… placed ninth in the event at the AAC Championships, just missing scoring in the meet… cleared a season-best mark of 1.95m (6-04.75) to finish sixth overall at the Thundering Herd Invitational.
 
2015-16 SEASONS
2016 OUT (SO): Competed in just three meets… cleared a best of 2.00m (6-06.75) at the Hurricane Twilight to open the outdoor season… placed fourth in the Hurricane meet before taking fourth at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational… capped the year earning American Athletic Conference All-Academic honors.
2016 IN (FR*): Scored at the American Athletic Conference Championships by placing in a tie for sixth place in the high jump… cleared 1.98m (6-06.00) at the league meet… cleared a lifetime-best 2.01m (6-07.00) to take fifth at the Armory Track Invitational, his first time clearing 2.00m in competition.
 
2014-15 SEASONS
2015 OUT (FR): Entered the high jump at five meets… recorded a season-best mark of 1.96m (6-05.00) at the American Outdoor Championships… posted Top 8 finishes to open the year, taking seventh at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational and fifth at the Miami Invitational.
2015 IN (FR): Redshirted.

PRIOR TO UC: Three-time Ohio Capital Conference high jump champion...finished fourth in high jump at the 2014 Ohio D1 State Championships.
