Sylvana Ross Season 2016-17

QUICK NOTES: Helped the indoor distance medley relay team score at the conference meet, running 11:56.78 to rank #5 all-time in program history.

2016-17 SEASONS
2017 OUT (SO): Finished 18^th in the 400m at the AAC Outdoor Championships… ran a career-best 56.12 to place sixth at the Lyles/Wood Invitational… lowered her PR three times on the year… ran her third sub-57 at the Kentucky Relays, finishing a season-best third overall in 56.62… helped the 4x400m relay to a third-place showing at the All-Ohio Championships.
2017 IN (SO): Scored at the conference meet as a member of the seventh-place distance medley relay, running the 400m leg to help the team to a time of 11:56.78, the #5 time in program history… raced primarily at 400m during the indoor season… ran a season and career-best time of 58.91 at the Thundering Herd Invitational… broke 60 seconds three times on the season… opened the year running a then-PR 59.26 at the Hoosier Open.
 
2015-16 SEASONS
2016 OUT (FR): Raced the 400m dash three times, turning in a best of 1:00.48 at the Lyle/Wood Invitational… also raced twice on the 4x400m relay… capped the year earning American Athletic Conference All-Academic honors.
2016 IN (FR): Competed in three meets… ran a PR 26.62 in the 200m dash at the Indiana Relays… posted her best of 59.72 in the 400m dash at the SPIRE DI Invitational to cap the indoor season.
 
PRIOR TO UC: One of the top 400m runners in the state of Colorado … runner-up in the 4x400m relay at the 2014 Colorado Outdoor State Championships … also finished ninth in the 400m at the 2014 Colorado Outdoor State Championships … four-time qualifier for the Colorado State Cross Country Championships … two-time competitor at the Nike Cross Southwest Regional.
