2018 OUT (JR): Scored at the AAC Championships, placing sixth overall in the 5,000m run in 15:01.11… raced to a season-best time of 14:56.68 in the event at the Tennessee Relays… also race a personal-best time of 4:02.00 in the 1,500m run a the Lyles/Wood Invitational… earned AAC All-Academic honors.
2018 IN (JR): Competed in a trio of events, recording personal-best times in two… ran a PR of 15:22.12 in the 5,000m run at the Indiana Relays before coming back at the Music City Challenge to lower his best to 15:12.61… ran 4:22.32 in the mile at the Buckeye Tune-Up for another PR… ran a season-best time of 8:35.66 in the 3,000m run at the Notre Dame Invitational as well.
2017 XC (JR): Was the team’s top finisher in three of his five races on the year, including the All-Ohio Championships, NCAA Pre-Nationals and NCAA Great Lakes Region meets… ran a 10-second PR in the 10,000m regional event to place in the Top 100 (89th)… finished 50th at the AAC Championships… posted Top 25 finishes at the Queen City Invitational (15th) and All-Ohio (23rd) meets.
2016-17 SEASONS
2017 OUT (SO): Scored his first individual conference points after placing seventh in the 5,000m run at the American Outdoor Championships… ran 14:53.86 to finish seventh and lowered his PR by nearly 15 seconds in the process… ran a PR time of 9:39.16 in the 3,000m steeplechase at the All-Ohio Championships… earned AAC All-Academic honors.
2017 IN (SO): Point scorer for the men at the American Indoor Championships as he led off the DMR that place seventh overall… ran the 3,000m four times during the season… posted a career-best 8:35.23 at the Music City Challenge.
2016 XC (SO): Scored in the team’s Top 5 in all four races he ran... improved his 8,000m time in each of the three races running that distance, finishing 25th overall at the American Championships in 25:43.2, his second meet in a row breaking 26 minutes… placed 119th overall the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships… earned a pair of Top 50 finishes to open the year by taking 38th at the All-Ohio Championships before taking 45th at the NCAA Pre-National Invitational.
2015-16 SEASONS
2016 OUT (FR): Competed primarily in the 3,000m steeplechase… ran 9:41.66 to finish third at the Kentucky Relays and post a PR in the process… raced at the American Outdoor Championships in the same event, placing 15th overall… also ran the 5,000m once, turning in a time of 15:17.03 at the RedHawk Invitational… capped the year earning American Athletic Conference All-Academic honors.
2016 IN (FR): Took the track twice, finishing one race… clocked a time of 4:26.78 in the mile run at the Kentucky Invitational.
2015 XC (FR): Raced four times this season… was the team’s fourth finisher at the Queen City Invitational (19th).
PRIOR TO UC: A 2015 graduate of Mason High School (Mason, Ohio)… one of Ohio’s top prep distance and cross country runners … ran the fourth fastest 5k time in Ohio this season … guided Mason to a team title at the Ohio D1 Cross Country Championships with an eighth-place finish … has competed twice at the Nike Cross Midwest Regionals … two-time Greater Miami Conference Cross Champion … claimed seventh in the 3,200m during the outdoor track season in 2013 and 2014 … enters the 2015 track season as the defending Greater Miami Conference 1,600m Champion.
