2019 OTF (SO): Placed 7th at the American Outdoor Conference Championships in the hammer throw. Set new personal bests in the hammer throw (54.18m/177’ 9”) and javelin (49.56m/162’7”).
2019 ITF (SO): Did not compete.
2017-18 SEASONS
2018 OUT (FR): Competed in one event, the Oliver Nikoloff Open… threw the hammer to 44.62m (146-04) and the javelin to 43.54m (142-10) in his lone competitions… earned American Athletic Conference All-Academic honors.
2018 IN (FR): Redshirted.
PRIOR TO UC: A 2017 graduate of Carroll High School (Dayton, Ohio)… competed in the throws for four years while also being a member of the football (three years), wrestling (one), swimming (one) and rugby teams… placed seventh in the discus at the OHSAA state meet as a senior after placing second in the region… as a junior, took conference runner-up finishes in both the shot put and discus… competed in the Ohio Hammer Championships and finished third overall… helped his team to four-consecutive Greater Catholic League titles as well as four district crowns… his senior year, CHS was second in their region and placed in the Top 10 in the state… academically, earned a GCL Co-Ed Division Scholar-Athlete Award, an OHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award, the President’s Award for Educational Excellence and the Honors Medallion (selected to the CHS honor all eight semesters)… is the second member of his family to compete collegiately after his brother Jonah swap for the Florida Institute of Technology (2013-17)… plans to major in mechanical engineering… following graduation, plans to work as a mechanical engineer collaborating to design state of the art surgical and prosthetic equipment.
