American Athletic All-Conference – Cross Country – 2019
QUICK HITS: After joining the program midway through the 2019 cross country season, going from the school’s club team to fifth overall in the American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships to earn all-conference honors... on the indoor track, ranks #10 all-time in program history in the 3,000m run with her time of 10:00.64.
2020-21 SEASONS
2021 OTF (SR): Ran a personal best in the 1,500m with a time of 4:38.07 at the War Eagle Invitational.
2021 ITF (JR): Competed in two indoor events, the H-Town SpeecCity Series III and the University of Akron Campbell Invitational.
2021 XC (SR): Raced in the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championships, finishing 23rd with a time of 22:24.8
2019-20 SEASONS
2020 OTF (JR): No season was conducted because of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
2020 ITF (SO): Raced at the two longest distances on the track in her debut season with the Bearcats... placed 18th overall in the AAC Championships at 5,000m... twice posted personal bests ahead of the AAC meet, including 17:41.95 for a second-place showing at the Indiana Relays before lowering her time to 17:38.37 at the Music City Challenge... posted a time of 10:00.64 at the Hoosier Open for the then-#7 time in program history (dropped to #10 overall by the end of the season).
2019 XC (JR): One of the top runners on the team in her first varsity season with the Bearcats... placed fifth overall at the AAC XC Championships as she ran a PR 20:46.4... earned AAC All-Conference accolade, tying her for the third-highest finish in program history with only a third place and fourth-place finish ahead of her... opened her year running for the UC Running Club at the Friendship Invitational and placed 12th overall in 18:33.3... her finish would have placed her fourth on the Bearcats roster... after joining the team two weeks later, ran 17:58.1 at the Louisville meet to place 51st overall and second on the team... from there, was the team’s top finisher in the final three races of the season, placing 27th at the NCAA Pre-National meet (21:49.6), fifth in the AAC and 45th at the NCAA Great Lakes Region (21:25.6)... her times at Louisville (5k) and AAC (6k) both are PRs.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Bellbrook High School (Bellbrook, Ohio)... in cross country, competed in the state meet as senior, placing 56th overall... placed in the Top 11 all three times she raced in conference, placing a best of fourth as a senior... competed in the Foot Locker Midwest Region meet as a junior, placing 158th overall... on the track, competed in 400m to 1,600m events... in the 1,600m, reached the district finals as a senior, placing ninth overall... ran her best of 5:33.30 to finish fifth in her conference meet as well... also reached the district meet in. the 800m (2:24.25) in 2016 and the 400m (1:03.44) in 2015.
