2024 ITF: Competed in two events during the season... At the Indiana Early Bird, she placed first overall in the high jump (1.79m).
2024 OTF: Competed in four events during the season... At the UCF Black & Gold Invite, she placed second overall in the high jump (1.79m).
2022-23 SEASONS
2023 ITF: Competed in five meets during the season… At the ACC Championships, she earned Second Team All-Conference honors by placing second in the high jump with a mark of 1.78m… She also competed in her first career pentathlon, scoring 3552 points and winning the high jump porting with a mark of 1.80m… Her pentathlon score is the ten-best point total in UC history. At the Music City Challenge, she recorded a personal best mark of 1.82m, the sixth best mark in school history… She also took home first place in the high jump at the Gladstein Invitational.
2023 OTF: Competed in five meets during the season… Made her first career appearance at the NCAA East First Round in the high jump… Competed at the AAC championships but did not record a height… She recorded an outdoor personal best of 1.75m at the Billy Hayes Invitational.
Prior to UC: She attended Virginia State and competed in one meet for them… She recorded her personal best at the KMS Opener in the 60m hurdle (9.64) and in the high jump (1.58m).
High School: A native of Miami, Florida, she attended Miami Southridge Senior High School… As a senior at the FHSAA Class 3A Track and Field State Championships, she placed fourth overall with a personal best high jump of 1.62m and was part of the 4x400 team that placed third overall with a time of 3:50.95.
Personal: Born Spirit Joan Morgan in Miami, Florida… At UC she plans to major in Psychology.
