CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati men's and women's cross country programs will head to Peoria, Ill., for the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday.
The meet starts at 4 p.m. with the men's 8k, followed by the women's 6k at 4:45 p.m. The Bradley Pink Classic is hosted by Bradley University and will be held on Newman Golf Course.
The field consists of 35 men's teams and 36 women's teams highlighted by – Dayton, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Northern Kentucky, Notre Dame, Ohio, UCF, Wright State and Xavier.
The men's field consists of two nationally ranked programs – No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 14 Michigan, while the women's field consists of one nationally ranked program – No. 3 Notre Dame.

The UC men's team placed 12th overall, scoring 304 points, while the women's team finished eighth overall, scoring 201 points at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational. Nationally ranked No. 9 Notre Dame claimed the men's title, while Indiana State won the women's title.
Freshman Patrick Kiprop was the first Bearcat to cross the finish line in the men's 8k, as he placed third with a blistering time of 22:27.0. It was the Kenya native's second consecutive race finishing first for the Bearcats and within the top three finishers.
On the women's side, junior Claire Curtsinger finished first in the women's 6k, as she placed 8th with a time of 17:18.6.
