Camden Beatty broke the program record in the 600-meter (1:18.85) to highlight a banner day by the program over three meets in Friday action.

Twelve additional Bearcats posted top-10 performances in the school record books to go with 17 PRs. Seven of those other 12 top marks came from distance runners, with throwers accounting for three. Robert Hart (long jump) and Morgan Komolafe (400-meter) also placed.

Nickson Kogei, the Bearcats' cross country All-American, was second in the 5,000-meter in program history. He was seventh among university athletes as he finished 13th in a heat that included stars from around the world.

Gianni Allwein and Seth Elking each posted PRs in the mile, affirming their respective places of third and fourth in the record books.

Curtsinger blew through her indoor PR in the 5,000-meter by 23 seconds.

Jason Deem's 4.87m mark in the pole vault was a season-best.

Prince Mcabelo and Abby Sewell made their debuts as well. Mcabelo is a mid-year addition from West Texas A&M, while Sewell enjoyed one of the most-successful freshman cross country campaigns in program history, culminating in a trip to the World Championships in Tallahassee.
