TicketsCINCINNATI — The Cincinnati cross-country teams are set to compete in the Gans Creek Classic on Friday morning at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course.
The Bearcats are sending 13 athletes (six men, seven women) to the meet, where the women will run in the gold 6k at 9 a.m., and the men will run in the gold 8k at 9:45 a.m.

Junior Christina Allen crossed the finish line first to lead the Cincinnati women's cross country team to a first-place finish at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge on Friday at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
Allen won in a time of 22:04.3, pacing a Bearcats squad that scored 24 points and placed five runners in the top 10.
Ireland Wildhart backed up Allen's win with a third-place finish in 22:21.7. Eloanne Le Corre followed in fifth at 22:29.3, and Jocey Willis took seventh in 22:31.6. Mia Heine rounded out the group of Bearcats in the top 10, finishing eighth in 22:34.3.
