2011 Season (Senior):
- Selected in the 20th round (No. 625 overall) by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
- Ranked third in BIG EAST in strikeouts with 56 during conference play.
- Started 15 games for UC in '11.
- Pitched 89.2 innings, allowed 31 earned runs on 87 hits and struck out 79.
- Accumulated a team-best 3.11 ERA.
- Record first career complete game allowing no earned runs and strucking out a career high 11 at Georgetown (4/1).
- Named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week (4/4) for performance vs. Georgetown.
2010 Season (Junior): Made 11 appearances, including 10 starts ... posted a 4-2 record and an ERA of 4.02 in 53.2 innings of work ... went 8.0 innings, struck out five, and did not allow an earned run vs. Niagara en route to his second win of the season (3/12) ... went a career-high 8.2 innings in a loss to USF on April 2 ... struck out 42 and walked just 18 and ranked among BIG EAST pitching leaders in opposing batting average for most of the season.
2009 Summer: Played for the Mat-Su Miners of the Alaskan League ... helped Mat-Su capture the Alaskan League title ... finished with a 1.89 ERA and owned a 1-0 record ... struck out 23 and walked only four batters in 19.0 innings of work.
2009 Season (Sophomore): Made 25 appearances out of the bullpen ... posted a 4.60 ERA, which was second best on the squad ... struck out 18 and walked 13 in 31.1 innings ... picked up first UC win on Feb. 27 at Davidson after throwing 2.1 innings of relief without relinquishing a hit ... struck out a season-high four batters in 1.2 innings of relief against Notre Dame (4/11) ... also picked up wins versus Dayton (3/10) and at St. John's (4/17).
Prior to UC: All-Ohio, all-league, and all-area selection as a senior ... during final season at Centerville, owned a 0.70 ERA ... had a 3.90 ERA during one season at Sinclair CC ... Centerville team won league and district titles in 2007.
