Natalie Lang is in her second season at her alma mater as assistant lacrosse coach.

In her first season, Lang helped mentor the first All-BIG EAST selection in school history. Courtney Curtis earned second team all-conference honors after scoring a team-best 37 goals.

Lang (née Starvaggi), a Cincinnati native, played for the Bearcats from 2008-11 and was a member of the inaugural lacrosse team at UC. She remains one of the program's all-time leaders in career ground balls (72) draw controls (46) and caused turnovers (28). She also is one of just five Bearcats to make 50 career starts. As a midfielder, she had her most prolific offensive season as a junior in 2010, registering 31 points (16 goals, 15 assists), while also picking-up 33 ground balls (second on the team).

Lang was a three-time team captain at UC. As a freshman, she scored twice in the program's first-ever win over Saint Mary's (Calif.) and also recorded the first assist in program history during the inaugural game versus Vanderbilt.

A product of Cincinnati's Mount Notre Dame High School, she was a three-time All-Girls Greater Cincinnati League selection and a two-time lacrosse team captain. Lang graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2011 with a double major in marketing and communications. Her brother Dominic, is a junior midfielder on the lacrosse team at John Carroll University.

2010: Played in all 17 games, starting 15 at midfield... recorded 31 points on the year (16 goals, 15 assists) ... caused nine turnovers and controlled 11 draws in 2010 ... picked up second-most ground balls on the team with 33 ... scored a season-high three goals against Louisville ... picked up a season-high six ground balls against Duquesne.

2009: Started 17 games at midfield ... recorded 19 points on the year (16 goals, 3 assists)... caused 10 turnovers and picked up 23 ground balls in 2009 ... dished out an assist in the last three games of the season, at Georgetown, vs. LeMoyne and against Detroit ... scored a season-high three goals in 11-10 win against Villanova.

2008: Started 11 games at midfield ... scored eight goals ... recorded five assists ... picked up 11 ground balls ... scored two goals in UC's historic first win over Saint Mary's (Calif.) ... tallied a goal against LeMoyne, at Navy, vs. Duquesne, at Denver, Howard and Louisville.

Mount Notre Dame High School: A two-year team captain ... named all-Girls Greater Cincinnati League honors each of her final three seasons ... also lettered in soccer, serving as team captain and MVP during her senior campaign.
