LOUISVILLE, KY —  The University of Cincinnati’s track and field program wrapped up days one and two at the Clark Woods Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville.

Cincinnati kicked off action on Thursday where the fifth-year Abby Knouff set a new school record in the pole vault event with an impressive mark of 4.42 meters. This was also good for a second-place finish in the event.

During Friday's competition, sophomore Ethan Long competed in the 200 meter race. Long placed fifth in the event with a time of 21.03, which is the fifth best time in UC history.

Camden Beatty and Romaro Knight both competed in the 400 meter hurdles, placing second and third respectively. Beatty, the current school record holder in the event, secured second place with a time of 51.54. Knight followed behind closely in third with a time of 51.65, the fifth best time in school history.

Freshman Miller Mabury competed in the long jump, placing first in the B division of the event. Mabury received an impressive mark of 7.58m, a personal best for the freshman and the eighth best time in the record books.

Cincinnati returns for the final day of action in Louisville Saturday, with the men’s discus throw getting things started at 10 a.m. ET. Five Bearcats are set to compete in the event, Seth Apple, Oliver Mayer, Charlie Riddle, Matthew Rusch, and Miller Mabury.
