Here's what's going on in UC sports this week:
The baseball team will participate in the First Pitch Invitational this weekend. The first game will be at Clemson at 4 p.m. Friday in Clemson, S.C. The Bearcats will then play Charleston Southern at 7 p.m. Saturday in Greenville, S.C., and Furman at 4 p.m. Sunday in Greenville, S.C. Cincinnati is 1-2 on the young season.
The men's basketball team will take on No. 9 Georgetown at 9 p.m. Wednesday in Washington, D.C. The Bearcats will then come back to host No. 13 Connecticut at noon Sunday in Fifth Third Arena. The Bearcats are 21-6 and tied for eighth in the BIG EAST at 8-6.
The women's golf team will kick off the spring season with the Cards Challenge Sunday and Monday in Weston, Fla.
The indoor track and field team will compete in the USATF Nationals Saturday and Sunday in Albuquerque, N.M.
The women's tennis team will take on Georgetown Saturday in Greenbrier, W.Va. The time is yet to be determined. The Bearcats are 2-8 (1-1 BIG EAST).

In case you missed it:
The baseball team went 1-2 in the BIG EAST/Big Ten Challenge last weekend in Florida. UC overcame a 5-0 deficit to beat Ohio State, 11-5, last Friday in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Bearcats went on to drop a 7-3 decision against Illinois last Saturday in Clearwater, Fla. Cincinnati finished the tournament with an 8-3 setback against Michigan State.
The men's basketball team defeated No. 16 Louisville, 63-54, last Wednesday in Fifth Third Arena, reaching the 20-win plateau for the first time since 2006. Cincinnati went on to beat Providence, 93-81 in overtime last Saturday in Providence, R.I.
The women's basketball team dropped a 64-44 decision to Villanova last Tuesday in the Pavilion at Villanova. The Bearcats went on to fall 57-43 to Providence last Saturday in Fifth Third Arena.
The women's lacrosse team picked up its first win of the 2011 season, knocking off Davidson College 13-10, last Friday at Richardson Stadium. Cincinnati went on to drop a 15-7 decision against High Point last Sunday in High Point, N.C.
The swimming team wrapped up action at the Ralph Wright Natatorium last Saturday as the 2011 BIG EAST Conference Championships came to a close. The women's team tallied 302 points and placed sixth. Liz Hansson was the big winner for the Bearcats, capturing the 50 freestyle championship. The men's team scored 167 points to take seventh place. Nathan Williams highlighted the men's participation with a third place finish in the 1650 freestyle.
The women's tennis team went 1-2 last weekend in three home matches at the Western Tennis & Fitness Center. The Bearcats Box Score fell, 6-3 to Toledo last Friday. Cincinnati topped Dayton last Saturday morning, before dropping a 5-2 decision against Akron later on Saturday.
The indoor track team finished tied for sixth at the BIG EAST Championships, held at Akron's Stile Athletics Field House. Kathy Klump earned a BIG EAST Championship when she won the 500 meter run. Sprinter Natasha Burse earned a pair of third place finishes (60 meters and 200 meters), while pole vaulters Mackenzie Fields and Sarah Rasnick took second and third place overall.
